목사님의 콘서트를 보다 아주 반가운 곡을 만났습니다.
유다의 배반이 하나님의 각본속에 있었으므로 유다가 하나님의 일을 한것이 아니냐는 해석으로 많은 논란을 일으킨 뮤지컬, 'Jesus Christ Superstar'에 나오는 (헥헥).. '겟세마네의 기도'라는 곡입니다.
목사님의 말씀대로 십자가 지시기 전날 밤, 예수님의 인간적인 고뇌를 아주 진하게 표현한 곡입니다.
원곡은 Deep Purple의 Ian Gillan이 불렀습니다.
Rock 가수답게 아주 엄청나게 불렀습니다.
여러 버젼의 녹음이 나왔는데 제 귀에는 이 판이 제일 맘에 든답니다.
고등학생때 한참 즐겨듣다 교회를 다니면서부터 왠지 듣기가 좀 껄끄러워졌던 곡인데 목사님께서 꺼내주시네요.
한동안 잊고 있던 노랜데... 올립니다.
(이 뮤지컬에는 귀에 익숙한 노래들이 많이 있을겁니다)
