Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth:
And (I believe in) in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
(was) dead, and (was) buried:
He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven (1 Peter 3:18-22),
And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty (Psalms 80:17, Romans 8:29-39);
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead (John 5:21-27, 2 Timothy 5:1-5).
I believe in the Holy Spirit;
(I believe in) The holy universal Church;
(I believe in) The Communion of Saints;
(I believe in) The Forgiveness of sins;
(I believe in) The Resurrection of the body,
And (I believe in) the Life everlasting.
