(에베소서 4:7-13)
7 우리 각 사람에게 그리스도의 선물의 분량대로 은혜를 주셨나니
8 그러므로 이르기를 그가 위로 올라가실 때에
사로잡힌 자를 사로잡고 사람들에게 선물을 주셨다 하였도다
9 올라가셨다 하였은즉 땅 아랫곳으로 내리셨던 것이 아니면 무엇이냐
10 내리셨던 그가 곧 모든 하늘 위에 오르신 자니 이는 만물을 충만케 하려 하심이니라
11 그가 혹은 사도로, 혹은 선지자로, 혹은 복음 전하는 자로, 혹은 목사와 교사로 주셨으니
12 이는 성도를 온전케 하며 봉사의 일을 하게 하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우려 하심이라
13 우리가 다 하나님의 아들을 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 온전한 사람을 이루어
그리스도의 장성한 분량이 충만한데까지 이르리니
(Ephesians 4:7-13 NIV)
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
8 This is why it says:
"When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."
9 (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?
10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens,
in order to fill the whole universe.)
11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists,
and some to be pastors and teachers,
12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
